Admission Procedure for Mechanical
BMS Institute of Technology and Management offers 8 engineering courses. To apply for admission in B.E. under the management quota, students need to meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible for admission, the students should have appeared for common entrance examinations such as KCET, COMEDK, or JEE.
The seat allocation for the B.E courses is given below. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

The eligibility criteria for admission to BMSIT are as follows:
- Students must have passed the 2nd PUC exam or class 12th from a regular classroom-based program.
- Students must have studied physics and chemistry, along with one of the following subjects: chemistry, biotechnology, computer science, biology, or electronics.
- Students must have secured at least 45% marks in science subjects.
- Students must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
- BMSIT offers admission to undergraduate engineering courses through entrance exams or management quota seats.
BMSIT Bangalore Scholarship
The institute provides scholarships for UG students, like J AND K AICTE. The class topper of each department will be appreciated by cash prizes.
